Not too cold. Provides some minor relief when you need it without the excessive cold of an ice pack. I like that it comes with a little storage case to keep in the freezer, keeping it clean and contamination free. It gets cold pretty fast in the freezer and lasts a few minutes before the roller loses some of its cold retention. The case has a 'power' button even though this roller has no power, lol

I'm so glad I got to try this product. It came in really handy when I had I hit my knee very hard and bruised it. This ice rolling device is almost like a cold lint roller for your body haha. It comes packaged in a cool plastic box or case. All you do is once you take it out of the packaging is put that case with the included roller in the freezer for about an hour. And it's ready to go. You take it out of the case. And you can just start rolling on any part of the body that needs cold therapy. Like an injury or you could even roll it on your face for facials and skincare. Soon after getting it, I hurt my knee really bad. And my knee was starting to bruise and swell up so I rolled it on my knee for a few minutes, and you've really felt a good cool sensation on the area. It is so easy to roll and very smooth. I would recommend this to anyone.It's a great alternative to ice packs.

I had no idea that an ice roller would be awesome for not only the under eye area, but also for anywhere else, until I ordered this one and tried it out!I keep mine in my deep freezer, which is perfect. It comes out really cold, and stays cold for at least 20-30 minutes of use before I notice the cold wearing off. To me, that's a pretty good amount of time.When I used it under my eyes, I definitely noticed puffiness fade away. My face/cheeks looked so much less puffy than it typically does! It did make my cheeks red for a little while afterward, so just keep that in mind. If I use it before my makeup regimen, it's not a problem at all.Realizing I could use it elsewhere was a game changer. After walking around all day, this felt really great to ice my knees... way better than an ice pack that has to continually sit in one area. Who knew!I'm so happy to have this little tool, it really works wonders. In my opinion, the value of it is worth the money!

This Loma Lux Cool IT! ICE Roller is a very effective cold, whole-body therapy tool. Cold therapy can be very effective for swelling and pain. What I find really useful about this handled roller is the control it provides me as I apply it to the area in pain. The handle allows me to reach to the back of my neck and shoulders to get to the specific areas I need to treat. It has successfully eased pain in my neck, shoulders, and knee.The roller comes in a very nice, hard plastic case that can all be put in the freezer together. I like the case, because it has a very smooth surface, which makes it easy to keep clean, since I keep it in the freezer. It in turn keeps the roller protected between uses. The roller should be in the freezer for at least an hour before using.I find cold therapy very effective in relieving pain. I will be using this cold therapy roller frequently.

I was going to upload a video of my daughter using this because it’s hilarious but she would never forgive me. We love this thing but it gets soooo cold (which is the point I suppose!). My daughter uses it to soothe sore muscles but it makes her laugh so hard because it’s freezing and I guess she finds it ticklish. It comes with a nice case, it freezes quickly and doesn’t take up much room. Also works really well on perking up my tired face in the mornings. Overall a really great item!!

The Lomalux Labs COOL IT! ICE Roller was ordered as an alternative to icepacks. Using a roller instead of a bulky ice pack was intriguing.On first glance it seems well constructed, hard to dismantle from the roller, and it rolls nicely on the handle. Instructions were simple-just put it in the freezer for 1 hour before use. Testing was also simple. It rolls smoothy over the face, arms, neck and legs without scratching. The edges are nicely rounded for a smooth operation. The roller itself is somewhat transparent.Theres a choice of freezing it either with or without the container it came in. The container would protect it from other items in the freezer. But this is minor point. Freezing without the container would make it simpler to pull out and use. Either way, this is a good choice for instant use when needed.

This ice roller is very nice! It comes in a case with instructions to freeze the roller within the case for at least 1 hour before use. After freezing, I used it to roll on sore muscles. I thought the temperature was nice and soothing, though my husband felt it was too cold to be straight on the skin and preferred it over his shirt. The handle is sturdy and the roller itself seems to be attached well. We have had an ice roller in the past that broke apart easily because of its flimsy structure, but this one seems like it will be durable. It has already survived being dropped on the ground by my 1 year old!Overall this is a nice ice roller that comes with a case and seems well-made. It can be used for many purposes, so it could come in handy if you keep it in the freezer to pull out on such an occasion!

i have a skin condition that makes me feel (and look) like i have small area sunburns around my eyebrows, mustache and beard areas. the cleanser the dermatologist gave me makes it burn even more. i would literally put ice cubes on my face afterwards to help with the burning sensations. that gets real messy real quick, then i saw this little item. it’s literally a frozen mini paint roller, and it works so much better than ice cubes. very easy to use, just freeze the whole thing, storage case and all, for a few hours (mine stays in the freezer) take it out, and roll it on your skin, for instant cooling relief. it’s not going to fix anything, or make my skin condition go away, but for the brief time it’s being rolled on your face, it makes the pain, and any associated anxiety created by it, disappear for a few minutes, which makes the whole process easier to bear. the roller is sealed so there is no wet face, the handle is ergonomic and easy to maneuver around, and the case locks and keeps any debris or ice away from the roller while stored in the freezer. sometimes the simple things just work, like this does, and that makes it a great value for the money in my book.

I got this ice roller, not knowing quite what to expect. When it arrived, I opened the nice, durable carrying case and saw what is essentially a cylinder filled with a freezable substance on a nice long handle. It's pretty simple, which I love, because that means there is less potential for malfunction. This device has myriad functions: roll it over pulse points to cool off quickly, roll it over itchy, irritated skin, roll it over your face to tighten the pores, roll it the back of your neck and wrists to wake yourself up, use on folks who are over-heated, use on bug bites, burns, excema, poison ivy...This is the must-have that you didn't know you need for your first aid kit. I think that once you get this, you're going to find all kinds of uses for it. This was a great find!

I bought my friend one too! We love using it when sitting on the porch or at the beach. Easy to clean and the case is nice.
